Cowden Castle Japanese Garden

I went off on a wonderful garden trip yesterday visiting 2 gardens Cowden Castle Japanese Garden and Arndean Gardens in Dollar.
The weather was very hot and the gardens were magnificent.  The recently restored Cowden Japanese Garden was breath taking and I would recommend a visit.  It opens to the public in July.  It has a fascinating history which would be of interest to gardeners and garden designers alike.
