A Writer's Life

By Awriterslife

Second week!

I finished my second week of the summer term. I’m up to date in my grading, and prepped until Monday. So, I’m doing rather well.

My mom took Henri to her monthly lunch date with her friends. When I called to check on them, she said all was good. And then called back a few minutes later: someone needed milk, so I joined them. Henri was busy charming everyone. He actually enjoyed à French fry, which is a huge step for my solid-adversed kid.

Then we went to look at cars. I’ve been trying to find something within a set budget that would allow me to fit in both car seats and an adult in the back. Tall order on said fixed budget. Why again am I not a trust-fund kid? Or one of those kids who get a car for their birthday? Ok, I’ll stop whining now! Besides, I know I’m no a kid anymore... sigh.
