Grandparent day

We took our little grandson out for the day today, to Birdworld. He loves watching all the birds in the garden and as our daughters childminder is on holiday this week, hubby took the day off.

We all had a great time, donned with reins, Caleb walked around saying “wow” and “tweet, tweet”, more interested on occasions with the children on school trips. We watched the penguins being fed and a bird of prey display.

Occasional spitting of rain this afternoon, with the rain cover for the pram going on and off, it predominately stayed dry and not too warm (or sunny).

He was a very good boy, although overtired and a little grouchy tonight - well he had walked a lot and taken in lots of new information!

This evening I spent catching up with AJ - she is lonely and just wants to talk. I then spent the rest of the evening booking and confirming the programme for my lace group for 2019/2020 - all done and emails sent :)
