Caught in a Trap

What a fabulous day with the ospreys in Rutland! Reassuring to see No. 28 back this year and I smiled as he screamed down from the willow tree, hit the water with a massive explosion of water and came up with a rainbow trout clasped in talons that were formidable.

Early doors with 3am alarm buzz from the iPhone which honestly was very alarming! Hours sitting waiting which paid of with No. 28 powering in for breakfast a tad late I thought at 6am. What was keeping him?

Great afternoon with JDO ( yet another chance encounter but by this point not unexpected) and it was really great not only to have someone to talk to waiting for the birds to come in but to also share it with. Terrific day all in all!
