Light and shade

This is another attempt at a SOOC abstract!!  Just a trifle of cropping! Many thanks Inge for hosting!  Not quite sure if this counts as an abstract? But I thought I'd tag it anyway!

The day started very early as neither of us could sleep so breakfast at 5:30 - in bed!  We snoozed a bit after but coffee and grapes at 8ish and finally got up around 10.00!  It's not a great way to start the day!

An Email from Emma Davies gave me the June topic which is architecture.  I was also looking for an abstract - no theme!

Ironing and lunch then we dropped off the car to have its winter tires changed to summer/normal ones and during this time we went into Bolton.  A long stop at Costa's and we picked up some sweets for Ro to suck and I left him on a bench and went off to the library to see if there were any interesting books on Photography.  Took one out.  Meanwhile a book I had ordered from Amazon arrived at home!  Isn't it great to be able to track deliveries!

The car was ready by 5!  They discovered two of the tires needed replacing so a large bill to boot, but they did valet it from top to bottom which was nice!

We then parked in town and went to The Olympus for a fish dinner.  We were still too early so sat in the car eating blueberries for our afters!  Fighting Ro's cough - he has a doctor's appointment for Tuesday!!!  I suspect he'll be dead or over it by then!

We went to see a play - Summer Holidays of Cliff Richard fame!  It started in the new bus station and after a short scene we were off on our summer holiday on a fleet of coaches!  They took us to the town hall square were there was another scene (extra - 'We are going on a summer holiday....') and from there we walked to the theatre to see the remainder of the musical!  They had a standing ovation from everyone in the theatre!!  It was really great a real feel good musical!

Finish this blip and i'm off to bed!  Have a good weekend folks !  I believe it starts on Friday?  Grandbaby early tomorrow!
