No trains today !

Today we had some proper snow for the first time in ages. That meant only one mode of transport - the mountain bike :-)

As the snow fell throughout the morning, I hatched a plan to take the afternoon off and take Jacob sledging (poor old Thomas was stuck at school for the duration :-( ).

On my way home I decided to take a detour down the disused railway line that runs near our house. Lots of crunchy snow and plenty of wintry scenes such as the one in this photo. Funny, they always seem better in the flesh than when you try to photograph them, epecially when the camera is a phone.

Had a great time on 'frosty hill' with Jacob although we weren't always in total control of the sledge (mind you, that's half the fun !).

My wish for today - more snow please !
