Today's the day ........................... to go over the top

Another hot and sunny day here - we just can't believe our luck that this warm spell of weather has gone on for such a long time.

The garden has exploded into life.  Everything is growing fast while the good conditions last - including this Hydrangea petiolaris, a vigorous-growing, woody, climbing plant, native to the woodlands of Japan and the Korean peninsula. 

It grows up trees and rock faces in its native Asian habitats - and its doing a good job of climbing up and over the boundary wall between us and our next-door neighbours ..........................
