Holy Cow

Have you ever seen a horse fly?
Here are a few cow flies.
We went for a walk this afternoon and did  6 miles, and some of the tracks and lanes were ones that we hadn't been down before. This is taken close to Holy City - not the Vatican, but a hamlet in the Blackdown Hills. The village in the background is Chardstock. Quite a few of us, including our visitors from Scotland, went to a pub quiz there last night, and made up two teams. We had a great evening, and it was all good fun and pretty hysterical. Neither of our  teams won, although we didn't disgrace ourselves (our ladies team, including me, won last month's quiz!)
