Lining up your ducks

I received a clean bill of health from the dentist which pleased me after having had a lot of restorative work done earlier in the year.  I called in at the garage on the way back to have the diesel fluid topped up but they forgot about me for nearly an hour until I reminded them. I wasn't too worried as they had an excellent selection of herbal teas, cakes and biscuits as well as the daily papers so I quite welcomed the pause.  In the afternoon I walked down to the village nature reserve at the brick pits.  The plant growth since my last visit with all the recent rain was remarkable.
