Meet Graciela sculptor, conservator and long standing friend of the family, I bumped into her while I was out for a bracing stroll this afternoon

It one of the coldest and snowiest days we've had for years but there she was outside chipping away ignoring the flurries.

She's just been commissioned to produce a memorial for the victims of The Plague and very beautiful it will be when it's completed.

I hung around chatting for a few minutes then dashed back for a warming coffee, while she just got on with her work.

Tough lass - well she does come from Northumberland. She's used to it.
