Merry Berries

I almost chose to blip a picture of the sirex wood wasp that I found on the glass of my back door a few minutes ago as I don't recall having seen one before and I definately haven't blipped one before.

But then I thought no, I didn't like the look of it AND it being almost dark, against a dirty bit of glass it was a lousy image. Instead we have the beautiful berries that I found this morning, straight from my camera, which shout 'winter is on the way' at me.

I am still happy that blip has made me more observant and that the wildaboutbritain website can usually help me identify my finds though.
