Apedale Country Park

I've actually managed to find a nice part of Stoke, it's only took 25 years.

Only joking but Apedale park is rather impressive, an old mining site now turned into a heritage centre with some impressive views over Staffordshire. This pit wheel is a memorial for all the miners that lost their lives at this site. There is a mini railway and mine tours which were all closed by the time I got there in the evening but I may have to return one day. 

Days like today would have been good to have a drone to see all around the park.
