Dubai airport

The lifts at T3 in Dubai. A late flight to Dubai from Kw8, from a small airport. My taxi driver wasn’t happy - too far he says. He looks after me well, and it was his bedtime so I understand his comments. He starts early and it’s Ramadan which is tiring.

I arrived in terminal 2, spent 20 minutes on a bus going to T3 then went through security, and jumped on a train to get to the right zone. It gets you thinking about the incredible cost of the infrastructure, the huge number of planes and people crisscrossing the world, the environmental impact...

On my way to Barcelona to see good friends, and more travels and friends to see after this.
