St Maarten

We stopped at St Maarten for the day today. We got off the boat and took the water taxi across the bay to the beach there. We took our Mr and Mrs Flip Flops too. We sat on loungers on the beach and went and swam sometimes and read. It was really nice and relaxed. Although we discovered when we got back that we had both got a sunburned.
We went back to the ship for lunch and we went on the Aquaduck- the slide on the boat. Then we got ready and went back over to the island to go and have a look. We walked around some of the shops and explored a bit. Then we got too hot and went back to the boat.
Tonight was the pirate party on the boat. They had a little show and then fireworks on the top deck. It was really nice, very strange to see fireworks on a boat.
