Cat Dancing
My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess Normal,
A couple of weeks ago Cazza took her big winter coat out of storage and left it on the floor. It was to remind her that it needs dry-cleaned what with Big Winter coming on and all that
Naturally, Punky found it right away. It is his now. She is not allowed to wear it anymore. It is his favourite new bed.
"I'm going to have to leave it on the floor there forever," said Cazza disgustedly. "Also, by the way, I need a new coat."
It is not like there are not cat beds EVERYWHERE in our flat. I am sitting between two of them right now on the couch as a matter of fact. There is another one in front of me and another one behind me. And that is just the living room. There are three more in Cazza's office and then there are the actual human person beds, which of course actually belong to the cats too.
But we don't mind. We are bonkers crazy catty people and we love them. In fact when I got home from work today I found that Cazza had put on her Mob Wives playlist which is full of funky groovy tunes. She always gets over-excited when this goes on, and as I unpacked the shopping I noted she was dancing around Jasper cuddling him in time to Come Get It Bae.
"I'm dancing with Jasper!" she explained.
Jasper gave me a resigned, long-suffering look. It is possible this happens often when I am out. "I think she's having some sort of fit," his expression said.
Our pussycats make us happy. So happy we want to dance. For this, I am happy to give up any number of blankets, towels, duvets and yes, even Big Winter Coats for them.
