Are You My Mother?

I took a walk on my lunch to hopefully see a heron in a different location and I was pleasantly surprised to hear a familiar call....a Kingfisher!!  Unfortunately, instead of fishing, it was chasing away a pigeon.  How odd! I managed to get a few in flight photos but not worthy of blipping...especially after I looked down at my feet and spotted this little fledgling looking up at me!

I am  happy to say that this little one flew across the pond while I was there  ; ))

I am managing to squeeze in a blip these days but rarely anything else.  I am so sorry....will try to catch up when I can.
