30 days Wild Day 6 - St James Churchyard.

Business in Carlisle again this afternoon.  So we picked up Kanyl and headed there.  Once the business was completed we headed to the nearby garden centre for a coffee then home.

Keeping up our 30 days wild in June challenge Clickychick and I headed out for a walk at St James Hutton in the Forest.  It is a little church off the road so unless on official business there is a lovely wander through the woods to get there.

When we arrived at the church having had many shots of things "wild" we were greeted by a glorious sight.  An unused part of the churchyard has been left to grow as a flower meadow.  The blip doesn't do it justice the area from the front of the shot to the wall was a sea of colour.

I know a number of local churchyards where similar actions are taking place.  I haven't seen any quite so floriferous but they are certainly doing their bit for the bees and other insects.
