Pulling Glasgow Strings

When I went to the dentist a couple of months back, she did not succeed with an attempted extraction and two pieces of root were left in my gum.  She arranged for me to go to a specialist dentist who would complete the job.  Today was the day.

He showed me the X-ray and told me exactly what he was going to do.  Straightforward he told me.  Maybe for you I replied.  My lower jaw was numbed and he set to.  Ten minuted later the job was done.  I was told of the pain and the swelling and the possible infection which might lie ahead and how these might be managed.  Oh well.

The wall art cheered me up on my way back.
