The Final Day

Our son left us just after breakfast, to go off and do an interview for Czech TV which will be broadcast later in a programme about the gaming community in the Czech Republic. Meanwhile we went off to Starbucks (!) for a full sized coffee… the locals tend to drink smaller sized drinks which, whilst very nice, are not quite the same!

We met up again for lunch in town (burger and beer) and then caught the metro back to Karlovo náměsti (Charles Square) where we had another beer at a bar overlooking the park, watching the world go by. The photo is of a tower (of which there are hundreds in the city) this one located next to the new town hall.

Then back to our local station (Smíchovské nádraží), and another beer outside a bar there.

Back home, ready to pack up after a fabulous week here. We leave the flat at 7:30 in the morning.

I noticed this week that all my photos have had their exif data removed - it seems that importing to my ipad and processing in Lightroom CC (mobile) strips out the data.
