The summit of Col Petit St Bernard between France and Italy, which has only just reopened after winter. Apparently they have a big party when this happens each year.
There’s still lots of very dirty snow . It was only 8 degrees C too so the thick fleeces came out. It’s been disappointingly dull today, so no great photos of scenery or anything. We did see dozens of beautiful flowers, including orchids, gentians and wild thyme, but not with anywhere handy to stop.
