After the long day yesterday, culminating in complaints from an arsey neighbour about the dogs, tranquility was not to be found here immediately. On top of that, today was full-on with an early hospital appointment for a surgical diagnostic procedure under general anaesthetic. The dogs and tortoises had all given me a warm greeting, and I found that the miniature white rose I’d planted in memory of Minnie had burst into flower too in welcome. Thanks Min. X.
