The Windy Gates Fox

I went to Balkello Woodland with my walking group. There was a thick haar, and at the top of the pass, called Windy Gates, visibility was poor. None of the fine views we hoped for.

I have brightened the view a bit. In reality the trees were harder to make out. Only afterwards did I think they looked like a giant fox.

Everywhere there were spider webs covered in droplets (see extra). Without the fog I would never have appreciated just how many spiders there are in the grass and heather.
