Leaves.....

Well, so far we’ve missed out on any rain, let alone snow but the southerly wind is freezing. As so often happens when bad weather comes up from the south, it headed out over Cape Campbell, then out to sea over Cloudy Bay and roared on to hit Wellington. We had the wood fire burning all day in spite of weak sunshine during the afternoon. Friend Priscilla visited this morning and kindly carried in firewood for us, usually a two person task for Keith and me. I gathered a collection of maple leaves of differing sizes from our garden and photographed some for today’s Blip. Stay warm my friends.....
