In some regions this wild flower was once considered to be unlucky to pick, because it was associated with fairies. While in other areas it was believed to be unlucky to bring the flower into the house because it would attract snakes. Then again, in times and places, the flowers seeds were used to treat snakebites, and it's roots were used to make soap.

Jane went to our local Shopping Centre yesterday, and bought some Wild West Salmon Jerky from Poundland. I don't think I have ever had any kind of Jerky in the past, but we both tried and liked it, and the pugs love it, so I'm planning to buy some more.
