The controversial light

At the church hall where we play badminton, the lighting was changed With some considerable dismay. When the shuttlecock is high in the line of the light then it is sometimes difficult to see and people grumble. The badminton tonight however was as good as it has ever been.

Otherwise the day was spent for a large part working on the front doorstep in sunlight as we had a visit from a plumber. Apparently it was cool with winds across Edinburgh however here it was a pleasant
