Autumn in Alladale

This is the single track road through the Alladale Estate in Sutherland. The road leads on to Croick Church at the head of the Glen. This church is famous for all the names scratched into the windows by the people of Glencalvie who were evicted from their homes during the Highland Clearances. It was quite moving to see it.
The road through the glen was edged by Oak and Beech and Silver Birch trees which looked quite stunning with their autumn coats on.
