Taking one for the team

Being an Aussie, I don't know much about Grid Iron. But Rugby... well that's another story!

If bears could play football they'd put us mere humans to shame with their powerful hit ups (is that what a grid iron tackle is called? ...hmm maybe I'm still thinking rugby..).

I just love the facial expression of the boy in this shot. He definitely copped a big hit!

Thank you for all the kind words about the passing of my friend. Tragic and sad and still can't believe it has happened, but must try not to dwell too much on the sadness and honour his life by remembering happier times. He was an avid rugby fan and played the game throughout high school and uni. I think he would have really enjoyed seeing our bears tackling and wrestling one another.
