St Botolph's Nature Garden

St Botolph's Church in Shepshed has dedicated some ground opposite the church, which is an extension of the graveyard, to a nature garden.

Mostly it seems overgrown with an abundance of grasses but these foxgloves were making a brave show when I walked to coffee morning.

My photo trip to the Cairngorms at the end of October has been cancelled but that gives me more time to concentrate on a family holiday with Len and Basil.

Barbecue at Jamie's Farm for Shepshed and District Camera Club this evening which winds up the club's year. Extra is of Mike and Len having a chat. Basil much taken with big labrador Millie who simply sat down when she felt she didn't want his attentions.
