Finally, a day without haar. Busy morning with various meetings, then quick trip up Blackford Hill to have an attempt at taking the big pano. The gorse isn't as vivid anymore and there is still some haze in the air. I suspect this will have to do now or they have to wait another year. I decided not to go for the focus stack, there is just too much wind. Instead, I am shooting wider (70mm) to get more depth of field. I also noticed another problem: the atmosphere is moving due to the heat (yes, I know, it's Scotland). The computer is busy now, stitching. We shall see tomorrow what we get. On the way back I spotted some nice crab spiders enjoying the sunshine and waiting for some hapless prey.
