Blue and Green

Today was Skara Brae, a walk along the cliffs towards Yesnaby, Barony Mill and Brough of Birsay. And proper, real life sunshine! Not that I wasn't enjoying Orkney under grey sky, but where isn't better in the sun?

Some sad news from Peebles, though. One of the RDA ponies I help to look after, and who is elderly and been getting increasingly unwell and frail, is going to be put to sleep tomorrow. It's the kindest thing but she has been on my mind all day. I hope her last night is mild, with sweet grass and moonlight xx
