Today was largely spent entering yesterdays data, but I still had time to help empty the moth trap this morning. A good catch, with the added bonus of elephant and privet hawk moth, as well as a very fresh pale prominent (see extra). I think these moths are so smart, perfectly camouflaged as a piece of broken wood. 

While I was photographing the moths, the willow tree above resounded with the calls of freshly fledged blue and great tits, all nagging their parents for food.
