Kendal - Backblip

This is the last full day of our amazing holiday and after a leisurely breakfast featuring the lovely free range eggs we purchased from David, the farmer and on whose site we are staying, we went into Kendal for a last look around and a stroll by the River Kent.  Saw plenty of Herring and Sea Gulls, dogs having a dip and people enjoying their lunch on the numerous benches available.  Mr  T and I availed ourselves of one and I now have a humungous stain of something probably unmentionable on my once pristine white trousers - hmmm :-/!

In the evening we met up in G & G's caravan with the rest of the campers on site for a few bevvies and lots of interesting chat with a most eclectic mix of people. 

We love all our TravelswithMatilda  but I think our current travels take 1st prize so far.
