London again

St Pancras Hotel and the British Library

I do like the two buildings and how they seem to blend into one another, despite being so different architecturally.

Arrived here this morning, by train from Penrith, and am now spending time in one of my favourite places (not the hotel!). Later I’m meeting my daughter and we’re going to the Shortlist Readings Evening (Women’s Prize for Fiction) - yes I know, another book thing. This one has become a bit of a mother and daughters tradition, although sadly one daughter can’t make it this year. Staying with my daughter tonight and home tomorrow.
