River Avon near Fordingbridge

I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder and torrential rain on the lodge roof. I believe that in Dorset there was a heavy snowfall.

Luckily the showers passed and a pleasant day ensued allowing a walk down through the forest to the River Avon near Fordingbridge. The river is running very high with the water meadows flooded but it looks very peaceful passing through the trees here.
