The dapper oystercatcher

Even oystercatchers need a bath sometimes!  We spotted this one when Liz, M and I were beachcombing after our picnic.  Not the best day weather wise, but we managed to fit in plenty.

The Italian Chapel with a big hit, as was the Fossil and Heritage Centre in Burray, the tapesty gallery, the craft shop and the seals. We came home with bags of pretty shells and stones and lots of sand in our shoes!
