Bollard….. And Medical Selfies…..

This afternoon around the harbour. They apparently use these thingies to tie boats to.  Rust never sleeps….

In other news I was listening while The B’s were chatting to an overseas friend on facetime  (Apple Skype) this afternoon and the friend who is a lady doctor was describing her knee replacement operation which she had with a local anaesthetic so she could chat to the surgeons at the same time. There was a screen so she couldn’t actually see the action…Right?  Anyway as the surgeon announced he was done and would close up she shouted.. WAIT  WAIT and when asked what the problem was she said she would like someone to get her iPhone and photograph the site. The surgeon used his own (plastic covered and sterile ) iPhone and everyone was happy.  

AND no she didn’t share the photo.   Thank goodness.
