Country Lane

I am not averse to driving a few miles to seek out my ideal Blip of the day, always on the lookout for something fresh, even though it may be a picture postcard scene.

Yet here we are with a prime example of the splendid English countryside, right next door in my home village, no more than a few yards from home.

Tomorrow, it may well be something in complete contrast, but for the moment I’ll settle for this country lane.

After all, there’s no place like home, they say.
