The end

Day 4 done and even the brutal hill out of Fort Augustus didn’t make either of us push the bikes. Such a great experience, no dramas, a few swims, great food, laughs, sunshine, stunning scenery and exotic wildlife to boot. We saw an osprey over Loch Tarff and some llamas in a field, seals and an otter and several red deer. Also loved the highland cattle cooling off in the river.

We’d both do the cycle again; maybe north to south next time.
