Scribbly Gum Scribble

There is a particular species of eucalyptus tree in the Blue Mountains, commonly called a "scribbly gum". The "scribbles" are created by the larvae of the appropriately named scribbly gum moth, burrowing close to the surface of the bark. As it grows, the scribble path gets wider.
