Not for your eyes... this swan apparently thinks as she spreads her wings to protect her eggs when I walked by on the old "Churchpath" (Kerkepad) across the meadow. The male of this couple was in the narrow canal close to her on their nest and indeed making an impressive posure with his wings spread out, as to also warn me off. No unease we exchanged; I bet they read my gentle grandma aura well :)
I go for this capture as I like mother-swan's pose of protection.
