$6m raised for Heart & Stroke

We had a really good ride this morning. We did the mid-size ride of 50km. Major expressways along the Toronto shoreline were closed for 15,000 of us (4,000 were running) - and we raised $6 million. We rode for Team RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) among their 400 riders. The event is so well run, full hot breakfast & lunch...it was 1st class the whole way. Very happy to ride with my sweetie for the first time, other than short rides around our home. He did so well managing his new bike, clipping shoes in/out and all the bike gears. We really had fun and were thrilled to have missed the rain, unlike the past 2 years. Feeling very pleased with the successful ride and very successful fundraising efforts.
