those magnificent men ....

.. and women in their flying machines! had a great day at Old Warden , visiting the Swiss Garden and then watching a flying display. As is usually the case the old Edwardians were my favourites. Extras include one of the Bristol box kite and Avro triplane flying together (both of these are replicas made for the 'magnificent men' film, and the Blackburn monoplane, an original and the oldest flying British aircraft in the world. Just as we were leaving we saw the Bristol Boxkite had taken off again so stopped to take some more shots in the lower sun.
