A day of to-ing and fro-ing with children's parties and time in the park supervising my youngest's cycling (doing superbly well until it all ended with a quite spectacular crash into a metal fence - nowt serious, she cried far less than I probably would have done...). Then a big roast dinner with some lamb off my, hang on - get to get this right, my friend's sister's daughter's husband's farm in Shetland. 'Twas splendid. Thanks to all members of that family for their efforts in contributing to a fine carnivorous end to the week.

All that cooking needed a suitable soundtrack, we went for some of the cool and smooth stuff.
