Her first granddaughter

It was such a shame my Mum could not be at the wedding but I hope I managed to convey something of its spirit and loveliness when I visited today.

After breakfast and goodbyes the Boss went north and I south. Yesterday lots of new bridges were built and old ones repaired.

It was lovely to see my Mum after too long an absence. I’ll be here a few days.
