Heatwave

It was gloriously HOT today. 
It was also the Croyde Scrumptious Trail Walk/Run - a charity event to raise funs for our local hospital's new Wellbeing Unit - and some members of the Barnstaple Camera Club were asked again to take photographs of the runners and walkers on the route and at the food and drink stalls.  This was the view of Croyde beach from one of the food stalls. The extra shows some runners coming up the steps off the beach. 
I hope over a thousand pounds will be raised by today's event. Huge respect to all those who donate the food and drink and time to organise this wonderful event.
