After the rain ....

... The garden breathes deeper.            

Meconopsis thrive where there's plenty of moisture and high humidity so they have an uphill struggle here.  As it's been many years since I flowered one this is a red letter day.  The flower was still unfurling this morning with the remnants of last night's rain still caught in the golden hairs.  

Assorted little jobs done today, indoors and out and Jamie and Jacinta both feeling a little better .... adds up to a good day.
