Poppy

Not a lot happening on the river this evening. It was very muggy with the threat of rain although I'm pleased to say Molly and I got our walk rain free. I just missed the heron - again! It suddenly appeared from under a small bridge and immediately took off when it saw us so tonight's blip is of a poppy. There are a number of these growing in the garden by the small stream but this one was on the other side of the road - possibly having seeded itself there from previous years.
