Things we do for love

Headed home after a lovely evening last night and cooked breakfast this morning stopping in Lancaster en route.

I have passed it many times but never visited. The main blip is of Ashton Memorial which you can see from motorway - it is a tribute from Lord Ashton to his second wife (wonder why his first didn't also rate a memorial). It was open and you climb to viewing gallery so we did. Second is of Lancaster Castle - rather liked the floral display outside.
