A very damp end to the day

My sister, Carole and brother Joe had a lovely morning looking round Shrewsbury in the sunshine , followed by a lovely lunch by the river. We got back to her pub and i went on a country walk with my Camera, such lovely countryside. However my blip shows nothing of the days photos as I was out about instead it is a picture of the result of a 30minutes torrential storm. The ford alongside the pub became a raging river at one time the water was going over the top of the little footbridge. Sadly the water flooded the Carole’s pub car park, flooded all of the back garden and came pouring into the beer cellar. The emergency pump had difficulty in coping, so it was all hands to the pump bailing out the water. always difficult to comprehend how just a 30 minute storm can cause such dame.
