George's Tree

We planted this Bramley Apple tree with George's ashes last December, I probably should have staked it but didn't, and since then it's pretty much been left to it's own devices.
It looks like George is taking care of it though, as we have two apples growing on it!
We had a thunderstorm first thing, then rain all morning, but it's very hot, sunny and humid now. We had pain aux raisins and coffee for breakfast in the pub this morning, with all the expats in the village, and are invited to Linda's for dinner as we have lent her the fish kettle to cook her salmon in!
